Where do I collect my car?
Marque1 is based in Kangaroo Point, a mere stones throw from the famous Story Bridge Hotel.
What restrictions are there?
For insurance cover reasons the driving age is from 28 years and up (varies for specific fleet vehicles) and have held a valid drivers license for at least 5 years. You must own your own credit card to make a booking.
Can my partner drive the vehicle during the Hire period?
As long as they meet the insurance requirements, they are welcome to enjoy the vehicle.
What do I need to do?
Contact us by phoning (07) 3391 0831 or via email with your query. A non-refundable 50% deposit is taken at the time of booking and the remainder processed the week of departure.
If you are purchasing the experience on behalf of a partner, family member, friend or colleague, the recipient of the experience must provide their own credit card for a security bond (See Below.)
What about insurance?
All vehicles are covered with full Comprehensive Car Hire Insurance. In the event of damages caused by you that exceed the capped amount of $5,000 you will be liable for the insurance claim excess of $5,000. This excess is only applicable in the event of an insurance claim.
During the hire period, Marque1 will require security over the sports car - this is referred to as a Security Bond. The Security Bond is processed on the credit card of the Primary Driver in the form of frozen funds. These funds release via your bank within 2-5 working days. Credit card details must be supplied to Marque1 a full 48 hours prior to vehicle departure.
Do you have Satellite Navigation Equipment?
Marque1 have TomTom's available. A daily charge is applicable.
Where do I leave my own car during the Hire Period?
Marque1 are unable to store vehicles. There is ample street parking around the area. We are in close proximity to both the City Cat & buses.
Can I collect my car from the airport ?
Unfortunately not. However, Marque1 can arrange Chauffer transfers to our office in Kangaroo Point (approximately 20 minutes away.) This is an option suggested to the hirer for ease of transportation and is payable by the hirer.
How much luggage can fit?
Small, soft bags are essential as luggage space is minimal in a sports cars. Hard sided suitcases will not fit into the space available. We are able to store oversize bags if required.
Does it cost anything to cancel or reschedule?
Marque1 are more than happy to reschedule your booking if unforseen circumstances should occur, however, 48 hours notice is essential to avoid costs incurred.
If you choose to cancel your booking you will lose the 50% deposit made at the time of booking. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the day of departure or on the day of departure are not refundable.
What if I want a Refund on a Gift Certificate?
The maximum refund on a Gift Certificate is 50% - this refund applies to the purchaser of the Gift Certificate not the recipient.
